Who We Are

The SACRED (Sustainable Action for Climate Resilient Enviro-social Development) Foundation is a distinguished non-profit organization under Section-8 of the Companies Act, 2013 and is dedicated to advancing climate-resilient socio-environmental development in Odisha. SACRED Foundation addresses critical environmental challenges through practical and sustainable solutions that promote environmental stewardship and support social advancement. SACRED Foundation is committed to fostering climate-resilient communities by aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). We integrate education with hands-on experience to prepare future leaders in sustainability.

In collaboration with the Trident Group of Institutions and various other educational institutions and industries, SACRED Foundation leads initiatives focused on renewable energy, carbon nutrality-inturn net zero, waste management, water conservation, various other social issues and capacity building. Our initial projects include converting food waste into nutrient-rich compost, utilizing UV and MBBR Technology to reuse waste water, and using solar panels as alternate renewable source of energy.
